22/365 - Kid's Music
These two boys love to play together. I caught them making some music on the concrete with their toy and cup...

19/365 - Finally, Back from WDW with a decent HSI connection
OK, I know I haven't been posting everyday, even though I thought I would from Disney World. I did take tons of pix everyday. Now I just have to sort through them...
You would also think that at a Disney Resort you would have decent internet access (especially for $9.95 a day charges). However, I was getting speeds of lower than 28kbs. In fact, the one post I made from Disney was 18/365 below, that was because a friend in my gaming class had a Mac with a Verizon Wireless card and kindly let me tag into his network. I was seeing 36kbs with that hookup, better than the so-called Hi-Speed Access Disney was selling...!!!
Anyway, supposedly it was a glitch of some kind...
So, now I will be posting a whole string of photos from the trip...Enjoy!

13/365 - GO AWAY!
This is a door hanger from our 7 Habits course at work. I want to hang it on my office door all the time...
By the way I thought Kerrie might be able to use this after seeing this article in her blog.

12/365 - Finally! I get to post! - Tools of the Trade
I have been bad this weekend about posting, but really good about accomplishing some projects that had kept hanging on and seeming like they would never end. This is a sampling of the tools I use at work. I like the creative side of my job and have vowed that this is the year I will put my creative skills to even greater use.

11/365 - Cobbled Together Creative CloseUp
Today I brought my sons' Samsung Digimax U-CA505 point and shoot to work to play with. Jack's 365 Blog article inspired me to be creative and so looking around the office I found an old lens element from a zoom lens. It looked like it would fit the Samsung if I held it over the lens, and it was. Now, what to photograph? Ah, that coke machine token with the eagle embossed on it would work great!
I used the maximum telephoto setting of 3x and manually focused by moving the camera closer and this is what I came up with.
Pat took a pic of me taking a pic using this for his 365 blog. Here's some I cropped down so you could see the technique...

7/365 - Misty Morning and "Punishment"
I took this photo on the way to work this morning. I've been wanting to take some more photos of Sleepy Hollow Farm on good foggy days or when the steam is rising off the lake, but always tell myself I'm running late and don't have time to stop. But since I started doing the 365 I am not going to do that anymore.
I know I was bad this weekend and only posted on one of the days, so I "punished" myself by staying a little longer and looking for more shots. :-)
Hope you like them.

2/365 - Magical Dreams
Magical Dreams - Hey Dada, Let's go there!
I took this picture of my son against my greenscreen. I had been wanting to do some photos in front of it since I bought it last summer, but had never gotten a round tuit. :-)
Thanks, Kerrie for getting this 365 project going!
1/365 - Start of Photo 365 Project
In an email this weekend from Kerrie, I was asked to join a project called Photo 365.
"A good description of this project can be found here.
The point is to take a photograph every day for a year. These photos will sum up your day... no matter how exciting or mundane it may be! Ultimately it will improve your photography, and create a pretty cool log of how your year was spent. " -- quote from Kerrie...
This photo was taken in Estes Park, Colorado a while back, and not today, but since I wanted to get this blog kicked off I threw it in.
